1. What is HB Ring?

HB Ring is a futuristic ring, which lets you see and feel the real-time heartbeat of your loved one, directly on your ring.

2. What is the current development stage of HB Ring and will the design of the HB Ring change by the time of delivery?

In course of last 2.5 years we were told countless times that it is impossible to make it, but we did not believe them. HB Ring is currently in a fully functional state, manufactured with final materials and dimensions, undergoing number of durability tests and analysis.

The design elements of HB Ring such as materials, dimensions, lighting and etc. will not change. 

3. How does HB Ring work?

To see the real-time heartbeat of your partner, you need to double tap your HB Ring. Your ring will light up once as a confirmation that the request was sent, few seconds after your ring will light up with the real-time heartbeat of your partner.

Your partner's ring will not show any indications that you are currently seeing her/his real-time heartbeat.

4. What do I need for HB Ring to work?

Besides a pair of HB Rings, you need a smartphone with active data plan or a Wi-Fi connection.

5. With what smartphones does HB Ring work?

HB Ring works with most of modern smartphones with Bluetooth 4.0 and higher (e.g.
iPhone 4S or newer). If you are not sure if your phone supports Bluetooth 4.0,
please contact us and we will check it for you.

6. Is the communication private?

Yes. The communication is 100% private. All data transferred to your ring or from
your ring uses secure connection. 

7. How much data is HB Ring using? 

HB Ring is using very little data, so you do not have to worry about your data plan. With a typical usage, about 10-15 touches a day, it will use only about 300-450KB.

8. What is HB Ring made of?

HB Rings comes in 2 different materials: Solid Rose Gold and Stainless Steel. Also all HB Rings include large sapphire glass covering the central part of the ring.

9. Does HB Ring contain nickel?

All HB Rings are free of nickel content. HB Ring metal parts are made of stainless steel and coated in Rose Gold or Jet Black. Solid Rose Gold HB Ring housings are composed of 18K solid rose gold.

10. What are the HB Ring dimensions?

All HB Rings are 3.9mm thick, 12.1mm wide and they come in 8 different sizes.

11. Is HB Ring water resistant?

Yes. HB Ring are water resistant, which means it will withstand short exposures to water, such as washing your hands or etc., but we do not recommend submerging HB Ring under the water for long periods of time.

12. What is expected battery life?

Expected battery life in typical daily use of 10-15 heartbeat requests is up to 14 hours, and up to 36 hours with a passive use.

13. How do I order HB Rings?

HB Rings are currently sold out. If you are signed-up to our newsletter, you will receive a notification once they are available again.

16. When I will receive my HB Rings?

Solid Rose Gold HB Rings will be shipping Nov 2016. First 100 pairs of Stainless Steel HB Rings will be shipping Dec 2016; #101-300 pairs starting Feb 2017; #301-600 pairs starting Mar 2017; #601-800 pairs starting Apr 2017; #801-1000 pairs starting mid 2017.

17. Will there be delays?

18. Returns

All HB Rings can be returned within 60 days after receiving them. This also includes limited edition Solid Rose Gold HB Rings. For more information please see our Terms.

19. Warranty

Solid Rose Gold HB Rings are covered with 10 years limited warranty. Stainless Steel HB Rings come with 2 years limited warranty. For more information, please check our Terms.
